Symbolism may be an understandable and quite common story for the city. Each city will have some politicized symbols. Mariupol will remain a sea city, obviously. Will it remain a port city? Very unlikely. Will it remain an industrial engineering city? Definitely not. This idea of this cultural centre is based on the identity, but not on a defined one, but rather in search of a new one.
